For The fans and nostalgic lovers of the ufo : enemy unknown and netbook Owners i have great news. The Open source project and Game with the name Ufo alien invasion is dedicated to whose liked to play the original Ufo. Ufo alien invasion it is not a simple remake of the game with better graphics but has new features , new options , better quality graphics and changes in Gameplay. The aliens are more inteligent  , the mission Maps are not so vast and you cannot Save game in the Mission so the Stress factor of not loosing the favourite soldier to be bigger! For the fans of the strategy in geoscape Mode there is also the automatic resolve of the battles option!

Here in This blog Theme. Ufo Alien invasion runs perfectly on netbooks and in the asus 1005 HA typic old Netbook with incorporated Graphic card. You have to change the game resolution to 800x600 because in the battle mode you will face problems with scrolling down the screen of the battlefield. I Found that out with fail and try actions and changes of the settings.

This game is Free to download and the size of the installation File are 980 MB. Because it is an open source Game there are many operative Systems Supportable and you can also run it on your Linux netbook or even in you mac laptop. You can also contribute in further developing of the UFO open source game making translations or coding new features.

Asus EeePC 1005 Heating Problems

I post in the netbooks games blog more and more rarely and that’s because the overheating problems of my Netbook Asus eeepc 1005 HA. After a few crashes powers down and refuses to open even after a few minutes ( while is heated).At start I just unplugged it from electricity  and with the battery had a protection against the overheating problem.Afterwards the Heating problems appeared even with the battery modus. I even opened the case to clean the fan but the overheating problems persisted.  Not only persisted but with the time goes worse. I `m thinking seriously to buy a new netbook  , but I would like to keep my asus netbook .Any suggestions?

Ikariam on netbooks

Don’t know if you are familiarized with one of the most famous browser games since 2009  Ikariam but it runs descend on Netbooks like most of the modern Browser Games. In Ikariam you build your town , gather troops and plan alone or with your clan raids to other cities. With Worms game you can have fun and action on your netbook.

A little Retro Game from the 90`s but Worms is one of the Games that will be always remembered because of the most excelled  gameplay. Two or more players or one player against AI ,control a number of Worms and fight the worms of the other turn based. In each turn you choose the type of your skill shot ,weapon  and try to exterminate the worm of your opponent.

The worms game  can also be good playable in netbooks and not only the authentic Dos version though a Dos emulation software but also that are plenty of flash remakes. One nice remake in in Windows live Messenger where you can play with you online Friend even there is in the other side of earth.

Install problem windows 8 on netbooks

I downloaded the new windows 8 pre relaease  from the
download Page from Microsoft windows 8 Consumer Preview

specific the 32x bit englich version and tried to install it from my netbook with windows 7 installed. The Setup process wanted to reboot , after the reboot the Netbook could not load the windows , neither the windows 7 and windows 8. Thank god i had not to reinstall windows 7 from start , did a windows repair and reset the windows 7 to a ppast setting point and all worked prefekly again
